Our company maintains comprehensive insurance coverage, including general liability, workers' compensation, and auto/heavy equipment insurance. We can provide insurance certificates for any project upon client request. What certifications do you hold?
Our team holds certifications from the Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute and the Drystone Walling Association of Great Britain, demonstrating our expertise in these specialized areas.Who will perform the work on my property?
Rob Laffer, the owner, aims to be directly involved in all projects. Smaller jobs may occasionally be assigned to a secondary crew, but Rob will still oversee these projects through regular site visits. How do you schedule your clients?
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis. It's important to note that your project will only be added to our schedule after we've received a signed contract and the initial down payment.Do you provide CAD designs?
At present, we do not offer CAD designs in-house. Many clients come to us with a basic concept, which we refine during the initial site visit. For projects requiring architectural plans, we collaborate with a trusted architectural firm. How much does a hardscape installation cost?
The cost of hardscape installations varies widely based on factors such as property access, soil conditions, project size, and materials used. We price our work based on time and materials. While we don't use square foot pricing for estimates, we can provide rough figures to help with initial budgeting: pavers start at $30 per square foot, stone flagging at $36 per square foot, dry-stack stone walls at $100 per square foot, segmented retaining walls at $85 per square foot, and stone veneer at $85 per square foot. These figures are for general reference only and should not be considered as estimates.Do I need any permits?
Permit requirements often depend on your property's proximity to water bodies or wetlands. While most towns don't require permits for standard projects, we always verify local regulations. We can assist with the permitting process, but for larger projects, we may recommend engaging a specialized permitting or surveying firm.
